AI Automation Specialist (On-Site - Clinton Township, MI)

We are a growing business based in Clinton Township, MI looking to modernize and streamline our operations through artificial intelligence and automation. Our goal is to reduce manual work, improve efficiency, and scale intelligently.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AI Automation Specialist to analyze our current workflows and implement practical AI-driven solutions across our business. This is a hands-on, on-site role where you will work directly with ownership and staff to identify inefficiencies and build systems that save time and increase productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate current business processes and identify automation opportunities Design and implement AI solutions (workflow automation, chatbots, CRM integrations, data processing) Build and optimize workflows inside HubSpot (CRM automation, pipelines, email sequences, reporting) Leverage Claude (including Claude Co-work / AI collaboration tools) to improve internal workflows, documentation, and task execution Integrate tools such as Zapier, Make, OpenAI APIs, and other automation platforms Automate repetitive administrative, customer service, and operational tasks Build internal systems for reporting, communication, and task management Train staff on new tools and workflows Document systems for long-term scalability

Qualifications:

Proven experience with AI tools, automation platforms, and system integrations Hands-on experience with HubSpot (required) Familiarity with Claude AI tools and collaborative AI workflows (required) Strong understanding of business operations and process optimization Experience with APIs, no-code/low-code tools, and scripting (Python or similar is a plus) Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions Strong communication skills and ability to work on-site with a team

Preferred Experience:

Previous work automating small to mid-sized businesses Experience with CRM systems, ERP tools, or custom dashboards Familiarity with data analysis and reporting automation

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate or project-based pricing (based on experience) Potential for ongoing consulting/retainer role Project based compensation or part-time at $25.00 per hour.
