MARKETING & EVENTS TECHNICIAN
The Marketing & Events Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining CFMOTO USA's marketing vehicle fleet and event assets to ensure operational efficiency, organization and cost-effectiveness. We are looking for a professional, results-driven individual who has a deep understanding of best practices and a hands-on skillset to maintain and represent the marketing department's multi-million-dollar unit and asset fleet.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Warehouse & Asset Management:
Manage the day-to-day operations within the marketing warehouse. Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization, vehicle cleanliness and compliance with company policies, recommendations and procedures. Coordinates the strategic acquisition of assets with the marketing department lead, allocates assets to supported events, shows, dealers, sales members and other internal departments. Plans the retirement of all marketing vehicles or assets.
Vehicle Lifecycle:
Manages and tracks the incoming ORV and motorcycle units for the marketing department. Replaces and manages the vehicles through a multitude of channel processes including employee and dealer sales or permanent disposition.
Light Mechanical Work and Support:
Removes units from shipping crates, sets up and PDIs units per service department recommendations for varying marketing events and dealer shows. Performs preventative maintenance, orders and replaces damaged or broken parts and oversees inspections for all outgoing and incoming vehicles.
Marketing Events:
Attends several marketing photo and video shoot events to support with light mechanical duties as necessary to on-site units.
Efficiency:
Collaborate with marketing department co-workers and cross-functional teams to manage event assets, load event trailers, order parts and accessories, establish service and maintenance training, or schedule logistics to transport units. Tracking the
Fleet:
Establish and maintain an efficient organized program to track the location of the entire marketing fleet for periodic audits throughout the year. Provide pertinent information to the marketing department lead and broader team when asked. Represents the marketing department in a professional manner internally and externally, and ensures a consistent, clean, organized and safe working condition of the warehouse facility and all equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent Associate/Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred) 1•3+ years of experience with consumer facing events or warehouse management Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of repair experience preferred Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail A positive attitude, motivated, self-starter with strong teamwork skills who can diligently work without supervision Strong communication skills both verbal and written Strong customer focus and service orientation with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and vendors at all levels in a cross-cultural setting Demonstrated ability to adapt to a challenging and developing environment; willingness to take on new responsibilities as the business evolves High deductive reasoning skills and ability to solve problems and think creatively to overcome obstacles Able to work within a team environment while handling multiple projects with deadlines Must be able to travel for project assignments and events, including weekends, and be comfortable with long hours on the road Must possess a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles Ability and willingness to secure a Motorcycle endorsement through training and testing Ability and willingness to become forklift certified through training and testing Ability and willingness to take ATV certification through training and testing
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Experience operating a truck and pulling a trailer
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
All applicants must be eligible to work in the US Normal schedule is Monday•Friday, 8 am•5 pm; ability to work required hours Working conditions are normal for a warehouse and office environment Requires use of office equipment Required sitting and computer-related activities for periods of time Ability to lift and/or move up to 65 lbs to assist with loading trucks for events Must be able to travel for project assignments and events, including some weekends The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of job-related factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, certifications, education, location and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $32•38 per hour. Our competitive salaries are just one component to CFMOTO's total compensation package.
