Full Job Description Job Title:
AI Developer / Automation Specialist (Automotive Group) About Cable Dahmer We are a fast-growing, 9-store automotive group in Kansas City looking for an AI Developer / Automation Specialist to help us modernize operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and build innovative solutions across our dealerships. This is not a traditional developer role—you will work directly with leadership to identify problems, build tools, and implement AI-driven solutions that improve sales, service, HR, marketing, and operations. If you enjoy solving real business problems (not just writing code), this role is for you. What You'll Do Build and implement AI tools to improve dealership processes Automate repetitive workflows across departments (sales, service, HR, BDC) Develop dashboards and reporting tools for leadership decision-making Integrate systems (CRM, DMS, marketing platforms) Identify inefficiencies and proactively recommend solutions Train staff on new tools and ensure adoption What We're Looking For Experience with AI tools (OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, automation platforms, etc.) Strong problem-solving mindset with business awareness Experience with APIs, integrations, and workflow automation Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
