Production Team Member Balloon Decor & Event Installations

Party Perks is hiring a part-time Production Team Member to help with balloon decor and event installations throughout the Greater St. Louis and St. Charles area. This is not a full-time position. Hours will vary from week to week based on our event schedule, but this role will typically include production work during the week and installations or takedowns around event dates. Some weekday, morning, evening, and weekend availability is needed. Saturday availability is strongly preferred, as many events take place on weekends. This is a hands-on, creative, physical role. No balloon experience is required — we are happy to train the right person.

Responsibilities include:

Inflating balloons and assisting with production prep Organizing supplies and keeping the workspace clean Pulling and packing supplies for upcoming events Loading and unloading event decor, tools, balloons, and equipment Assisting with balloon installations at venues, schools, businesses, and private events Helping with event takedowns/strikes after events Following written and verbal instructions for each job Working carefully around finished decor, client property, and venue spaces Representing Party Perks professionally while on-site We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys creative work, hands-on projects, events, and being part of the behind-the-scenes magic that makes celebrations come to life.

The ideal candidate:

Has reliable transportation Is comfortable with physical work, including standing, lifting, carrying, bending, climbing stairs, and loading/unloading supplies Can lift and carry up to 45 lbs Is comfortable using a ladder Can follow instructions and work well with a team Can stay calm and flexible when plans change Has a good attitude and communicates clearly Is professional and friendly around clients and venue staff Can work both independently and as part of a team Is dependable and shows up for agreed-upon shifts Preferred but not required: Event setup experience Retail, warehouse, theater, floral, art, decor, or production experience Experience working with your hands Interest in creative or event-based work This is a part-time 1099 position and schedule is event-based. Hours may vary depending on the season and event schedule. Additional hours may be available during busy event seasons and holidays.

Pay:

$18-$25 per hour, based on experience and responsibilities.

Work location:

In person, throughout the Greater St. Louis and St. Charles area. The bulk of production will be in St. Charles, MO. To be considered, please apply through Indeed and include your general availability.
