Job Description

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA's family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results. This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting. The anticipated term of this engagement will be 12 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs. Product Marketing The Product Marketing job obtains, organizes, analyzes, interprets and reports market-related information to determine market potential of a product or service. Working independently under limited supervision, this job performs marketing analysis to support the selection, design, development and promotion of new or enhanced insurance products. Key Responsibilities and Duties Recommends product positioning, associated marketing themes and media channels that align with target customer demographics. Analyzes marketing data and interprets it for brand impact to report to management on implications for key products. Utilizes the specific features and options of designated new products or enhancements in coordination with management and with other partners of the organization. Conducts qualitative or quantitative research for market positioning, such as pricing, market assessment, or promotional and advertising research studies. Coordinates with product development and marketing teams to ensure that customer needs/values are incorporated into product design, branding and marketing approaches. Analyzes the product P&L (e.g. budgeting, expenditures, profitability, and ROI). Reviews copies for advertising, marketing, training and communication materials, for new and enhanced products. Sedentary Work Career Level 7IC Position Summary Provide product marketing support by leading and managing content creation and maintenance for TIAA Retirement Solutions investment products. The Product Marketing role is responsible for product messaging, positioning and execution of marketing strategic campaigns and initiatives in partnership with Marketing and Distribution colleagues aimed at acquiring, developing, and retaining clients. By utilizing traditional as well as dynamic methods, such as client segmentation, marketing automation, digital and social methods, this job aims to execute multi-faceted campaign deliverables that deliver high-quality leads to the sales organization. Primary Responsibilities Assist with the development and implementation of product marketing strategy, turning ideas into reality Manage seamless product launches by executing go-to-market plans, including developing campaigns and creating content deliverables Develop product positioning and messaging, crafting meaningful content based on audience needs Build and manage multi-media content, including sales materials, social posts, emails, and videos Develop strong working relationships with Product, Distribution, Marketing, Law, Compliance, and Sales Enablement partners Contribute to journey mapping for respective audiences - including identifying gaps, pain points, positive experiences, and identifying opportunities for future state needs Manage and help develop engagement and other measurements and KPIs based on overall business goals Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of fixed and variable annuities and retirement plan industry (preferably 403(b)); TIAA contract knowledge a plus Ability to manage multiple projects Collaborative content creator adept at building effective partnerships at varying levels of the organization Excellent project management and communications skills Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills Minimum Experience/Education Requirements 3+ years of experience in marketing, ideally within financial services Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Base Pay Range:
