Meredith College is seeking an adjunct instructor for Marketing courses at the undergraduate level for the fall semester (August through December 2026).
Duties:
The Meredith College School of Business is seeking an adjunct instructor for two courses for the fall semester, Social Media Marketing and Sales Management. These courses serve as electives in the Marketing concentration and minor, under the Business Administration major. BUS-362:
Social Media Marketing:
An examination of the social media marketing tools used to engage customers through integrated marketing communications channels. This course provides the insights to establish objectives and strategies, select and integrate social media platforms, and measure the results. Also explores integration of other digital marketing tools such as search engine optimization, business-to-business digital marketing, and mobile marketing. BUS-466:
Sales Management:
An analysis of professional selling practices with emphasis on the selling process and sales management. Includes foundations of selling, the selling process, selling to organizational customers vs. the ultimate customer, and management of the sales function.
Qualifications:
Masters in Marketing or MBA (required), preferably from an AACSB-accredited business school, with at least eight (8) years of significant industry experience in the related field OR Ph.D. in Marketing, preferably from an AACSB-accredited institution. Proven track record of effective teaching preferred. Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills. Live in the state of North Carolina and available to teach face-to-face on-campus. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis until needs are filled.
