Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Specialist will develop and execute content across multiple marketing channels to strengthen our brand identity, promote our services, enhance our industry authority, generate leads, and drive engagement. This role manages all Ventura MedStaff social media platforms and our Facebook community, creates compelling content for blogs, infographics, podcasts, articles, and thought‑leadership pieces, and plans and executes integrated campaigns across social, email, and text.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that utilizes multiple marketing channels to communicate our brand identity, promote our services, enhance our reputation and authority in the industry, generate leads, and drive overall engagement. Create and distribute engaging content for multiple marketing channels, including social media posts, blog posts, website copy, infographics, marketing emails, videos, and podcasts. Repurpose popular content for use across multiple platforms. Manage all Ventura MedStaff social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and our Facebook group. Plan, execute, and optimize social media ad campaigns. Utilize Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices, keyword research, and internal and external linking, backlinks, meta titles, and descriptions to optimize website content such as blog posts and articles. Plan and execute email marketing strategies and campaigns in compliance with
CAN-SPAM
email regulations to provide personalized content, generate leads and drive conversions. Tactics include email workflows, segmentation, A/B testing, lead nurturing, performance optimization, and data analysis and reporting. Maintain an editorial calendar to effectively schedule content across multiple channels. Monitor KPIs and competitor social activity, generate weekly performance reports, and adjust strategies as needed. Develop and manage email/text campaigns utilizing marketing automation tools to nurture leads and engage customers. Assist with analyzing and reporting platform/website analytics and tracking leads. Stay up to date with the latest social media and content trends. Work with our employee engagement team to plan internal company events and activities. Assist the marketing team with our traveler gifting program. Attend trade shows, community events, and job fairs on an as needed basis. Assist the Director of Marketing with other related duties, as needed.

Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with knowledge of AP writing style required. Strong understanding of digital marketing, campaigns, content creation, blog writing, social media, podcasting, and SEO. Proficient in graphic design, and knowledge of design principles and brand standards required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask and handle multiple campaigns across multiple marketing channels. Exceptional time and project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong creative and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically. Proficient with WordPress, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn ads, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro), Canva, WordPress, social media scheduling software, email automation platforms, and other related software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, advertising, communications, graphic design, or related field required is required. At least two to three years of digital marketing experience required. At least two to three years of experience with managing social media channels required. One to three years of related experience in medical staffing are preferred. Basic understanding of healthcare policies, terminology, and compliance requirements preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

Salary Range:
$24.00 - $26.44/per hour (based on experience)
