Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Marketing Assistant to join a growing team in New Jersey. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who wants to build hands-on experience supporting trade show and event marketing operations in a fast-paced environment. The role offers exposure to large-scale venue coordination, campaign support, and day-to-day marketing activities while providing strong potential for long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
Support the planning and execution of trade show programs, including coordination for large event venues and required service orders.
Assist with marketing initiatives across email outreach, direct marketing efforts, and social media activity to help promote events and services.
Manage event-related administrative tasks such as scheduling, document preparation, and communication with vendors and internal teams.
Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other materials using Microsoft Office applications.
Help coordinate travel bookings and logistics for events and business-related activities using designated booking tools.
Track deadlines and follow up on key deliverables to keep marketing and event projects moving efficiently.
Work closely with office and production teams to support show services and ensure operational details are addressed.
Contribute to a collaborative environment by taking on new tasks, learning the trade show business, and supporting broader marketing needs as required.
