  • Marketing & Communications Executive Vice President, Strategy and Enablement
  • Marketing & Communications Overview The Executive Vice President, Strategy & Enablement for Marketing & Communications is a critical, high-impact executive role responsible for defining the global Marketing & Communications strategy, modernizing capabilities, and accelerating revenue growth.
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, this role plays a central part in determining the strategic direction for Marketing & Communications and ensuring alignment across corporate business units and regions. In addition, the EVP, Strategy & Enablement owns end-to-end accountability for a defined portfolio of core Marketing & Communications functions, including Marketing Operations, Strategy, Research & Insights, Sustainability, Chief of Staff, Program Management Office, and Risk. As the owner of these capabilities, the EVP is accountable for setting vision and direction, establishing operating standards and decision rights, and ensuring performance against clearly defined outcomes. This role integrates strategic planning, capability development, governance, and execution across the portfolio, serving as a senior enterprise leader with accountability for Marketing & Communications' strategic infrastructure, operational effectiveness, and long-term scalability. Role
  • Partner with the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer and the Marketing & Communications Leadership Team to shape the Marketing and Communications strategy ensuring a clear global vision aligned to enterprise, business unit, and regional priorities.
  • Translate Marketing & Communications strategy into clear priorities, execution plans, and success measures.
  • Establish and track KPIs for Marketing & Communications strategy execution and enterprise impact.
  • Ensure alignment of strategy with investment decisions and operational capacity to drive best-in-class performance.
  • Establish and evolve the Marketing & Communications Program Management Office to deliver on a harmonized Product and Engineering approach
  • Define governance, roles, and ways of working across Marketing & Communications and partner teams. All About You

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
