With more than 180 employees and over 50 years in business, we continue to invest in new technology, automation, and process improvement to remain competitive and support future growth. We are seeking an AI & Process Improvement Specialist to report directly to the President and help identify practical ways to improve how our business operates through AI, automation, and better business systems. Job Summary This is a hands-on role focused on improving operational efficiency across the organization. You will work directly with employees and department managers to understand current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions that reduce manual work and improve visibility into business performance. As part of this effort, you will evaluate technologies such as Gemini, OpenClaw, AI agents, workflow automation platforms, reporting tools, and custom business applications to determine where they can create meaningful business value. Responsibilities Meet with employees and department managers to understand existing workflows and processes Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI, automation, reporting, and workflow redesign Research, test, and implement new technologies and business tools Improve the collection, reporting, and flow of operational data throughout the organization Reduce manual data entry and repetitive administrative work Build reports, dashboards, and business intelligence tools that support better decision making Work with internal and external technology partners to implement solutions Train employees on new systems and processes when needed Qualifications Experience with AI platforms, automation tools, databases, reporting systems, or business software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience improving business processes or operational workflows Ability to communicate effectively with employees across multiple departments Self-motivated with the ability to independently drive projects forward Manufacturing, distribution, or operations experience is a plus What Success Looks Like Success in this position will be measured by the amount of manual work eliminated, the quality of operational data generated, and the business impact of the solutions implemented. Pay:
