Non-Exempt Job Objectives The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the Enrollment and Marketing teams by executing content-driven digital marketing initiatives across email, web, search, and social media channels. This role collaborates with internal campus partners to deliver high-quality, audience-focused content that supports awareness, engagement, and enrollment goals. This position focuses on content deployment, campaign execution, and channel coordination, while partnering with Enrollment and Operations teams for data, reporting, and systems execution. Core Responsibilities Email Marketing (Content & Execution) Create, edit, format, and prepare mass email communications for audiences including prospective students and community contacts ensuring clear CTA, consistent voice, brand alignment, accessibility, and mobile-friendly design Coordinate email scheduling to prevent audience fatigue and ensure alignment with broader campaign calendars Support ad hoc and high-priority email needs for Enrollment Partner with Enrollment and Operations teams to review performance insights and refine messaging strategies Marketing Project Coordination Manage assigned marketing requests from intake through execution Track deadlines, approvals, and deliverables in collaboration with internal stakeholders Support campaign launch coordination and post-campaign reflections Web & Content Operations Support content updates and entry in the CMS (Umbraco) Ensure content consistency across channels and campaigns Collaborate with SEO and digital teams to optimize content performance Email & Digital Channel Support Draft and prepare email content for deployment by the Enrollment Marketing team Support social media and digital advertising campaigns with copy and creative assets Assist with maintaining content calendars and campaign schedules The approved rate of pay is : $21.00/hr
Requirements:
Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, information systems, or related field. 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing or CRM/email campaign operations. Hands-on experience with Slate CRM is strongly preferred Proficiency in campaign management, segmentation, dynamic content, and testing in an email marketing tool or CRM. Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, UTM tracking, and campaign attribution. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset. Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple simultaneous campaigns. Additional Attributes Demonstrated ability to manage complex systems and support cross-functional teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Alignment with the mission of Roberts Wesleyan University and commitment to Christian higher education.
