The Role

• Amphenol Commercial Air is seeking a Marketing Trainee to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY .

The Marketing Trainee will complete rotations through customer service, technical product support, and general marketing to develop a working knowledge of Amphenol Commercial Air products, systems, and internal/external organization, leading to a future position in product marketing and career development within the organization. The key responsibilities of the Marketing Trainee include, but are not limited to: Customer Service Quote and order entry Quality RMA's, expedites, and delinquency tracking Customer phone calls Customer Technical Support Technical training of connector products Spec file, drawing management, customer quality clauses Customer technical issues Product Line Support and Management Cost reduction products Program tracking Salary $62,354

Associate or bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other technical discipline Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals Ability to generally understand engineering drawings required Ability to interface at all levels of departmental and top management Ability to fully understand the objectives of the product line and can work independently towards achieving those goals Ability to promote and sell their products Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Highly organized and self-motivated Proficiency in Microsoft Office Capable of learning and using Amphenol's operating programs Prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and computer related work Travel (air and car), approximately 10% The Company
