Company Overview Greenawalt Roofing Company is a locally trusted roofing and exterior contractor specializing in storm restoration, insurance claim support, and high‑quality roof, siding, and gutter replacements, serving homeowners across Eastern Pennsylvania, the greater Philadelphia region, New Jersey, and Delaware. We are growing our storm team and looking for motivated, coachable sales professionals who want to build a lucrative career helping homeowners restore their homes after hail and wind events. Position Summary The Storm Restoration Sales Representative is a field‑based sales role responsible for generating new business in storm‑affected neighborhoods, performing property inspections, and guiding homeowners through the insurance claim and restoration process. You will work closely with a Storm Field Manager, who supports you in the field with inspections, scope accuracy, and claim strategy, and you will report into the Sales Manager as part of Greenawalt's storm program. K ey Responsibilities Canvass storm‑affected neighborhoods, generate leads, and schedule property inspections with homeowners. Perform exterior storm inspections (roof, siding, gutters) and document damage with photos, notes, and basic measurements. Educate homeowners on storm damage and the insurance claim process, set expectations, and explain Greenawalt's solutions and value. Meet with insurance adjusters and participate in inspections as needed to support the claim and scope of work. Build accurate, insurable scopes of work in coordination with the Storm Field Manager and office team. Present proposals, close contracts, and hand off jobs cleanly to production once approved. Maintain organized records of leads, inspections, photos, and job details in company systems. Attend team meetings and field trainings. Implement feedback from the Storm Field Manager and Sales Manager to continuously improve. Reporting Structure & Support Reports directly to: Sales Manager Field support from: Storm Field Manager, who works alongside you on inspections, complex appointments, adjuster meetings, and scope reviews Collaborates with: Marketing (storm maps and targeted areas), office staff (claims and paperwork), and production (job readiness and scheduling) Qualifications No previous roofing or construction experience required; sales or customer‑facing experience is a plus. Comfortable with door‑to‑door canvassing in storm‑affected neighborhoods and speaking with homeowners face‑to‑face. Ability to safely climb ladders and get on residential roofs, and work outdoors in varying weather. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust quickly. Basic technology skills to use mobile apps for photos, notes, and CRM updates. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record. Willingness to work days that can include morning, afternoon, and early evening appointments, with occasional weekend or evening appointments based on customer availability. Compensation & Benefits W‑2 employment. 8% commission on the total contract value of approved and completed storm restoration projects, with no commission cap. Typical first‑year earnings range from $80,000 to $130,000+, depending on individual performance and activity level. Company vehicle provided for work use, plus company‑paid fuel card. Company‑provided ladder for inspections. Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, eligible the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Company-paid Life/AD&D and Short-term disability insurance. 401(k) Plan. Branded apparel and marketing support, including targeted storm maps and data to focus your efforts. Structured onboarding and ongoing field coaching from a dedicated Storm Field Manager and Sales Manager. Schedule Full‑time, field‑based role. Days typically include morning, afternoon, and early evening appointments, with occasional weekend or evening appointments based on customer availability. Schedule is activity‑based and focused on when homeowners are most likely to be home. Work Location In person, primarily in storm‑affected neighborhoods within Greenawalt Roofing's service area across Eastern Pennsylvania, the greater Philadelphia region, New Jersey, and Delaware. Role requires periodic travel within this multi‑state service area to respond to active storm events.
