Position Summary We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our growing team at Evolve Cannabis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing impactful marketing campaigns that increase brand visibility, engage our audience, and drive traffic both in-store and online. Key Responsibilities :
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution Develop, implement, and monitor multi-channel marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement. Create and manage seasonal, product-specific, and event-driven campaigns aligned with business goals. Digital & Social Media Management Maintain and grow Evolve's presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Produce engaging, original content (photos, videos, graphics, captions) tailored to our audience. Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy based on engagement and reach. Event Planning & Promotions Coordinate in-store events, vendor days, product launches, and seasonal promotions. Manage event communications, including social media announcements, email newsletters, SMS marketing, and in-store displays. Utilize SimplyBook to manage appointments, vendor sign-ups, and event RSVPs. Compliance & Industry Regulations Ensure all marketing activities adhere to local and state cannabis advertising laws and guidelines. Stay current on regulatory changes and adjust strategies to maintain full compliance. Online Presence & Reputation Management Oversee and optimize online business listings on Google, Yelp, Bing, Leafly, Weedmaps, and others. Respond to reviews and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Monitor and improve the brand's online reputation and visibility. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in marketing, ideally in cannabis, retail, or consumer packaged goods (CPG). Proficiency with digital tools such as Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Canva, Google Business Profile, and Meta Business Suite. Solid understanding of cannabis marketing regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong creative instincts with an eye for engaging content and branding. Ability to interpret marketing data and pivot strategies as needed. Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in the cannabis industry. Familiarity with SimplyBook or other scheduling/event platforms. Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.). Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Growth in social media engagement and follower base. Increase in customer foot traffic, event attendance, and newsletter subscribers. Positive trends in customer reviews and online ratings. Growth in in-store and online sales driven by marketing initiatives. Campaign ROI and customer retention metrics.
