Intern - Email Marketing

Overview Are you interested in customer relationship marketing and curious how email and SMS campaigns come to life? Are you eager to learn, stay organized, and support a fast-paced marketing team? The Email Marketing Intern will support the email marketing team for Pet Supplies Plus and Wag N' Wash, gaining hands-on exposure to lifecycle marketing across two national brands. You'll work in a positive, collaborative team environment where mentorship, hands-on learning, and teamwork are core to the internship experience. Responsibilities/Qualifications This internship is designed to provide real-world exposure to how email and SMS campaigns are planned, built, tested, launched, and analyzed

• with guidance and support from the Email Marketing team.

The Email Marketing Intern responsibilities include: Support day-to-day execution of email and SMS campaigns under team guidance. Assist with basic email builds in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and SMS setup in Attentive, including proofing, testing, QA, and scheduling. Help ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with email and SMS best practices. Assist with audience documentation, basic performance reporting, and post-campaign organization. Support administrative tasks such as organizing campaign assets and documentation. Participate in team meetings and learning sessions to gain exposure to campaign workflows and tools. Hands-on experience supporting real email and SMS campaigns. Exposure to enterprise‑level email and SMS marketing tools, data systems, and workflows used to support lifecycle marketing campaigns. Experience working in a supportive, collaborative team environment focused on professional growth. PAWSOME Email Marketing Intern Candidates will have:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Interest in email marketing and an eagerness to learn how brands use digital channels to communicate with customers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment. Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Familiarity with common spreadsheet or data organization tools.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing, email, or SMS concepts.
• Introductory knowledge of HTML.
