Remote Job Description - This contractor will support the Marketing Governance team in intake & system operations, backlog management, and governance enablement, while assisting in the transition of the intake system from Azure DevOps (ADO) to Adobe Workfront, with an emphasis on helping to design and implement an automated future intake system. Key Responsibilities Workfront Intake & Governance Operations Support marketing intake in Workfront (request queues, custom forms, workflows, routing logic) Partner with Lead Intake Manager to ensure high-quality, governance-ready ticket submission Support governance board preparation, prioritization views, and decision tracking Maintain and optimize intake lifecycle (idea log governance approval execution) Intake Automation & AI Enablement Design and implement automated intake capabilities within Workfront (Fusion, integrations, rules engines) Enable smart intake experiences, including: Prompt-based ticket drafting or structured submission guidance Auto-suggested fields and standardized inputs Real-time validation and error flagging prior to submission Partner with stakeholders to define and operationalize pre-submission quality scoring/validation logic, automated identification of missing fields, dependencies, or common errors, system-driven recommendations (e.g., suggested priorities, routing, or governance outcomes) Support development of capacity reporting automation, including real-time intake visibility vs. available capacity and alerts or recommendations based on workload thresholds Migration & System Transition (ADO Workfront) Support backlog migration, data validation, and cutover readiness Translate ADO structures into Workfront architecture (programs, projects, forms, reports) Identify opportunities to simplify processes using Workfront-native capabilities vs. replicating ADO Ensure seamless continuity of intake, governance, and reporting during transition Backlog Quality, Data Governance & Process Controls Own backlog hygiene and intake data quality across idea backlog and active work Implement automated QA checks and validation rules to improve intake quality at the source Establish and document governance standards, intake rules, and system guidance Reporting, Insights & Decision Enablement Build Workfront dashboards supporting governance, intake trends, and capacity insights Enable self-service reporting for governance board and stakeholders Identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities using intake data Planning & Capacity Enablement Prepare backlog for quarterly planning (clean-up, dependency clarity, readiness) Align intake with prioritization and capacity planning frameworks. Required Skills & Experience Platform & Automation Expertise Strong experience with Workfront configuration (request queues, forms, workflows, reporting) Experience with Workfront Fusion, automation tools, or system integrations Proven ability to design automated workflows, validation rules, or decision-support systems Experience supporting system migrations (ADO preferred) Data, Logic & Process Design Experience in backlog management and grooming Ability to translate business requirements into structured intake logic and automation rules Experience with data validation frameworks, scoring models, or decision logic Strong backlog management and data quality expertise Analytical & System Thinking Dashboarding and reporting (Workfront or similar platforms) Ability to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities Familiarity with capacity planning or workload modeling Ways of Working Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable building in ambiguous environments Preferred Skills & Experience Experience building AI-assisted workflows, prompt-based systems, or intelligent intake tools Exposure to automation platforms Experience in marketing operations, intake/governance models, or enterprise work management systems.
