POSITION SUMMARY
The SEO/Marketing Specialist assists the Owners/Sales Manager is developing strategies to achieve the company's marketing goals through research, analysis and testing. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Develop Assets & Strategy Assists the Owners/Sales Manager in formulating, executing, monitoring, and adjusting the annual marketing plan, strategies, and campaigns with the goal of meeting or exceeding the company's lead goals within the company's budget for those goals.
Assists the Owners/Sales Manager with creating and proofing the content, design, and production of online and offline marketing campaigns and materials, ensuring correct spelling, grammar, and brand consistency. Assists the Owners/Sales Manager in applying for company awards.
- Trade Shows & Other Events Manages the company's brand ambassador program. Recruits, trains, and manages brand ambassadors. Identifies, registers for, and evaluates events. Procures, organizes, and maintains booth materials. Enters sales leads from the events.
- Internal Communications Communicates marketing initiatives, programs, and happenings to employees. Manages the employee newsletter content and distribution. Assists with employment branding initiatives, including content creation, internal and external messaging, and the careers website.
- Social Media Management Develops and manages social the media content calendar and schedules new and repurposed content across of variety of social media platforms.
Tracks, analyzes, and reports on overall social media metrics. Suggests strategies to improve engagement and lead generation on social media based on these findings. Monitors and observes industry news, market trends, mentions, and customer feedback and reports on key findings. Interacts with and respond to customers and prospects on social channels to encourage engagement. Assists with paid social media campaigns. Designs (or oversees design of) social media posts.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of marketing principles and practices. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English. Skill in operating personal computer and programs; skill in design software is a plus. Proven experience as an SEO Specialist In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms Experience working with Google or Adobe Analytics as an SEO Specialist Prior experience working with digital marketing and/or a content management system Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials and on computer screen 75-100% of time. Associates or bachelor's degree in marketing preferred and 2+ years of experience in the marketing or writing/editing fields OR a combination of education and experience to illustrate a proven track record in this field. Ability to exert up to 10 lb. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects, maintaining a stationary position most of the time.
- If working events you must have the ability to: to transport equipment in own vehicle to exert up to 50 lb.
of force occasionally in setting up and tear down booths to stay upright/stand for up to eight hours at a time, to move about and move to/from and work from the floor level, and has a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company.
