Position Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will lead NRBTV's campaign strategy and execution, owning the development and rollout of high-performing, brand-consistent marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, increase viewership and drive donations through strategic communications. This role serves to advance the mission of NRBTV by translating messaging priorities set by the CEO into coordinated campaign plans and deliverables across email, web/landing pages, newsletters, and promotional events. The Marketing Specialist ensures NRBTV's campaigns are timely, audience-relevant, and executed with excellence across all channels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or commensurate experience, in marketing, communications, advertising, digital media, or related field. Experience working within a ministry, non-profit, or media environment preferred
Requirements:
Strong campaign instincts—able to translate priorities into clear positioning, offers, audiences, and conversion-focused rollouts. Excellent marketing copywriting skills, including email campaigns, ad copy, landing page copy, and short-form promotional copy. Working knowledge of paid digital strategy: targeting, budget pacing, creative testing, performance optimization, and reporting. Strong analytical ability; comfortable using metrics to evaluate performance and make adjustments. Strong creative judgment and ability to ensure brand consistency across campaign visuals and messaging. Able to communicate collaboratively across departments and work within approvals processes established by the CEO. Present a neat and professional appearance and consistently exhibit competence and grace in interpersonal and social settings. Ability to support occasional evenings/weekends during peak seasons and major events (conferences). Willingness to travel for NRBTV events as needed. Mature, committed Christian faith and full alignment with NRBTV's Mission, Statement of Faith, and Code of Ethics. You must agree to and sign our Statement of Faith. Must reside in
Nashville, TN Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and maximize viewership. Create engaging and relevant content for marketing materials, including social media updates, email newsletters, and website content. Conduct market research to identify trends, viewer needs, and competitive analysis. Develop strategies to increase brand awareness; ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice. Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) and manage search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns. Handle viewer questions and email correspondence regarding programming, including specific content or scheduling changes. Gather and analyze viewer feedback to inform marketing strategies and improve viewer satisfaction. Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, campaign performance, and market insights for management. Support and execute conference sponsorships as directed by the CEO to include booth display, sponsorship packages, and marketing materials. Work closely with other departments to align marketing efforts with organizational goals. •This role requires ​availability ​during regular business hours.
