Job Description
Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist, with a focus on Lifecycle & Retention, plays a key role in advancing OSVs mission by leading retention marketing efforts across OSVs product portfolio, helping drive customer engagement and ongoing relationships with Catholic schools, parishes, and dioceses.This role helps strengthen OSVs approach to retention marketing by ensuring customer engagement efforts are consistent, connected, and aligned across products and teams. Working within established frameworks and in close collaboration with senior marketing leaders, the specialist brings lifecycle strategies to life through thoughtful retention campaign execution and coordination as well as a continuous cycle of learning, iteration, and implementation of new ideas. All of this is done with a strong desire to multiply impact for the customer through engagement with the OSV ecosystem of products and services.
The Specialist partners with product management, sales, customer success, and creative teams to ensure that all campaigns are data-driven, mission-aligned, and resonate deeply with ministry leaders, educators, and catechists. This role also provides opportunities to contribute to broader strategic initiatives, including initiatives supporting American Church Inc. (ACI), an additional company of OSV, and future account-based marketing (ABM) efforts, with a path to expanded ownership and take on additional responsibility over time.
Essential Job Functions (•=non-essential tasks):
Serve as the primary marketing lead for retention campaigns across OSVs product portfolio.
Develop and implement multi-channel lifecycle campaigns (email, digital, print, and social) that drive customer engagement, product adoption, and renewal.
Execute customer communications across key stages of the customer experience, including onboarding, engagement, and renewal.
Coordinate retention marketing efforts across products to support a consistent and connected customer experience.
Identify opportunities to improve retention marketing efforts across products, helping inform more effective customer engagement and renewal strategies.
Partner with product managers, sales, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with customer needs and business priorities.
Develop campaign messaging and content in collaboration with the Creative Design team to ensure clarity, consistency, and mission alignment.
Support targeted account engagement efforts in partnership with sales, with opportunities to contribute to account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives.
Track and report on campaign performance (e.g., engagement metrics, retention indicators), identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Contribute to the execution and ongoing development of strategic marketing initiatives supporting American Church Inc. (ACI).Performs additional responsibilities in support of departmental and organizational priorities as needed.
Experience and Requirements25 years of experience in marketing, preferably in financial, education, or faith-based industries.
Strong understanding of the Catholic Church and familiarity with the needs, dynamics, and audiences of Catholic parishes, schools, and diocesan leadersProven success developing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Basic understanding of content marketing, digital advertising, and customer engagement strategies.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Interest in developing skills in data analysis, customer segmentation, and account-based marketing (ABM).Experience with marketing tools (CRM, email platforms, Canva, etc.) and SEO/SEM preferred.

Bachelors degree in marketing, business, related field required, or equivalent education and work experience.Working Environment:
Incumbent will be working in an office environment on a hybrid schedule with at least 3 days per week in the Huntington, Indiana office. This position is designed as a hybrid role, requiring onsite work in Huntington, Indiana three days per week. Remote work may be considered for highly qualified nonlocal candidates.Must be available for travel when requested.(
