This team will be remote first, and move to hybrid in a few months. We're weeks away from launching our main product, which is in the consumer AI hardware / software space. We will launch on a Shopify site and scale through Meta ads, Google ads and TikTok Shop. We'll add the Amazon channel soon after launch. The role We need someone who is going to drive the paid acquisition channel from our launch going forward. You'll own paid acquisition end-to-end. Meta, Google, TikTok Shop—budget, creative testing, scaling, reporting, all of it. You'll be the growth hire, reporting directly to the founders, with a real budget and the autonomy to spend it. You'll be the person who decides what we test next week, which creative concept gets the next greenlight, and when to kill a campaign that isn't pulling its weight. If you've been waiting for a seat where your decisions actually move the P&L—this is it. What you'll actually do Run and scale Meta as our primary acquisition channel. You are already fluent in Advantage+, the Andromeda updates, and where the platform is heading next. Build out Google Ads from the ground up—Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube. Drive TikTok Shop affiliate strategy. Source creators, manage the program, hit GMV targets. If you've cracked TikTok affiliate at scale, lead with that. Brief and direct creative. Source UGC and other creators to drive content testing at scale. Own the dashboard. Weekly reporting that's actually useful, not theater. Tell us what to build next. The best media buyers see signal in the data before anyone else. We want to hear it. You're probably a fit if... You've personally scaled DTC or consumer-tech ad accounts past $100K/month in spend. Bonus points if you've taken something from launch to meaningful scale. You understand that MER, blended CAC, and contribution margin matter more than platform ROAS. You have strong opinions about creative testing frameworks and a track record of finding winners. TikTok Shop / affiliate GMV is an area of real expertise; not just a line on your resume You're in Austin or moving here. We are building an in-person team eventually, and all remote hires need to have that in mind as they start. You move fast, write clearly, and don't need to be micro-managed. The deal Starts as a contract engagement with a clear path to full-time -- for the right person -- with an ESOP available Competitive contract rate—tell us what you're worth. Real budget, real ownership, real product. You're getting in before the launch, not after. Direct line to the founders. What you say happens, happens. When you apply, plan on providing: One account you scaled and the numbers behind it (spend, ROAS/MER, timeframe). The single best ad creative you've ever briefed or run, and why it worked. Summary on the last consumer product launch you watched closely—what they did right, what you'd have done differently.
