Temporary / Contract Job Summary A major company in the cruise line industry is seeking a Trade Marketing Specialist to support North America trade marketing operations during a planned leave of absence. This role will help execute marketing initiatives that support travel advisor partners, internal sales teams, and brand programs while ensuring continuity across day-to-day trade marketing activities. The Trade Marketing Specialist will support co-op advertising, partner marketing, sales collateral, digital content management, email marketing operations, trade communications, and seasonal program launches. This is a strong fit for someone with B2B/trade marketing experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Trade Partner Support & Co-op Advertising Manage co-op advertising programs with National Account travel advisor partners and field sales teams, including ad review, ROI evaluation, and coordination with Business Development Managers. Provide marketing support for Field Sales and National Accounts, including collateral, promotions, trade show strategy, POP materials, logos, videos, and other key assets. Coordinate with fulfillment teams to maintain collateral inventory levels. Participate in and present updates during monthly sales team meetings. Program Launch Marketing & Collateral Support marketing efforts for new destination seasons and program launches, working cross-functionally to deliver on-time, on-brand sales materials and communications. Develop and maintain collateral for exclusive offers, amenity funding programs, and other promotional initiatives. Support benefit and training-related program development in partnership with internal stakeholders across Sales, Revenue Management, and Marketing. Digital Content & Portal Management Develop, manage, and maintain content on travel advisor portals and partner-facing microsites. Manage email marketing platform operations, including uploading email templates, marketing content, and image assets for B2B use. Help plan and execute campaign journeys that support promotions, brand awareness, ongoing testing, and partner engagement. Collaborate with Sales, Shared Services, and Revenue Management teams to optimize campaign and program effectiveness. Support travel advisor training campaigns and course-related communications. Trade Communications & Social Strategy Support trade social strategy, including third-party platform activation and content coordination for Sales social posts. Partner with Marketing, Public Relations, and Sales teams to develop timely and relevant trade-facing content. Participate in weekly strategy meetings and help coordinate communication plans. Develop and distribute operational update communications to trade partners. Work with Customer Service and Sales Support teams to produce Trade FAQs and operational updates. Conduct ad-hoc travel advisor surveys, including drafting questions, managing distribution, interpreting results, and reporting findings to stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, trade marketing, integrated marketing communications, or a related field within a corporate or agency environment. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives at the same time. Experience managing marketing content across formats, including brochures, sales collateral, advertising, email, and video. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro. Preferred Experience Experience with travel advisor, B2B partner marketing, cruise, travel, luxury hospitality, or related industries. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email/CRM platforms, including content uploads, template management, and campaign execution. Familiarity with web content management systems and partner or advisor portals. Experience with project management tools such as Workfront, Monday.com, or similar platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing and editing marketing copy. Experience with print and digital production processes. Familiarity with ADA compliance requirements for marketing materials. Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, present solutions, and work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to execute trade marketing campaigns, portal content updates, and B2B communications within established brand guidelines and strategic direction. Strong attention to detail across digital, print, partner-facing, and internal marketing materials. Ability to manage projects from brief through delivery and reporting. Comfortable collaborating with Sales, Revenue Management, Creative, Marketing, Operations, and external partner teams. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Professional, proactive, and solutions-oriented communication style. Strong ownership of assigned work while knowing when to escalate risks or seek guidance.
