Job Overview Shelby County Newsmedia, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and innovative Video Marketing Specialist to elevate our brand and partner brands through visual storytelling. In this role, you will craft engaging video content that resonates with diverse audiences, utilizing cutting-edge editing techniques and creative design skills. Your expertise will drive brand awareness, engagement and conversion by producing high-quality videos for multiple platforms. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your passion for videography, motion graphics and content creation in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and creativity. Duties Work with clients to execute comprehensive video marketing strategies aligned with brand goals and campaign objectives Produce video and digital content to help promote our brand, which features 10 magazines, three newspapers, several special publications and an array of digital platforms Edit and enhance videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, iMovie, Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects Produce podcast episodes, working to handle audio and video production of the recording Create social media clips of podcast recordings, marketing videos and other content to help with brand growth for our Shelby County Newsmedia and marketing partners Collaborate with marketing teams to conceptualize content ideas and scripts that effectively communicate key messages Collaborate with partners to create video marketing campaigns for their business Capture high-quality footage through filming or videography sessions; oversee lighting, framing and sound quality during shoots Experience Proven experience in video production, editing and post-production workflows with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects Proven experience in podcast production and editing Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, iMovie or other video-editing software Skilled in photo editing, photo manipulation, typography design and graphic design principles Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment This new position will have the creative freedom to produce award-worthy content both internally and for clients in Alabama's most bustling communities and beyond.
Pay:
$31,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
