Job Description

Job Purpose - Assist marketing and communications office with events throughout the year. 10-month position (Aug-May). Duties and Responsibilities - Student will assist the athletic communications office as well as the external team in a variety of ways including game day management/engagement, writing press releases, keeping in-game statistics, website management, social/creative content and other duties assigned. The graduate student will serve as the primary athletic communications contact for assigned programs. Undergraduate degree in communications, sport management, marketing or related field. Student will be able to work collaboratively with several different athletic department constituents. Experience in Genius, Stat Input, Presto statistical programs as well as a proficiency in Adobe Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Position includes tuition and salary stipend.
