Job Summary KEMET Electronics / YAGEO Group is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer at our Simpsonville, SC location. This is an onsite role. The Technical Marketing Engineer acts as the bridge between market needs and YAGEO Group product capabilities. This role translates customer and market insights into compelling technical messaging, content, and experiences that support design engineers and position YAGEO Group solutions as topofmind throughout the design process. Key Responsibilities Design new products that meet customers' specifications, typically within a short amount of time.
Research and follow technological market trends to ensure alignment and relevance of content.
Creation of content in support of the design engineering including application notes, white papers, blog posts, technical marketing collateral, digital assets, short clips, and videos.
Review, edit, and modify existing or submitted content and assets to adhere to the branding and technical standards typical of YAGEO Group content.
Collaborate with external content creation suppliers to ensure successful delivery of content, including reviews for technical accuracy and messaging.
Prepare and review presentation materials.
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to identify key areas of content placement and interactions to enable growth of the marketing automation platform.
Participate in and support technical forums, industry events, speaking engagements, and industry shows.
Participate in the coordination and logistical execution of US technical events.
Travel 10% to 20% to trade shows and other US facilities.
Collaborate with other members of the technical marketing department and YAGEO Group with the goal of producing compelling content and experiences.
Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Power distribution network design and analysis.
Design of switched mode power supplies.
Design of charging systems both wired and wireless.
Knowledge of signal conditioning and filter design. Education and Experience Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Circuit design and validation experience.
Analog, power, and digital design experience.
Experience with DC/DC, AC/DC, and inverter topologies.
Exceptional writing, presenting, and speaking skills.
Experience with content management systems such as WordPress and Adobe is desirable.
Ability to create elaborate, engaging content from concise source material.
Advanced MS Office skills, specifically PowerPoint.
Video editing experience is a plus. Location and Work Type Simpsonville, South Carolina
