Frisco Family Services Marketing and Communications VISTA AmeriCorps - 4.3 Dallas, TX Job Details Full-time 18 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Community relationship building Full Job Description For nearly 30 years, Frisco Family Services located in Frisco, Texas has served those in their community who are facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs. It operates a Summer Lunch Program along with the FFS Market, the only no-cost community food resource in Frisco, and provides emergency financial assistance with rent or mortgage, utilities, gas vouchers, childcare, and prescription medications. Frisco Family Services is the only social service organization in Frisco. Vouchers are provided to clients for clothing, household goods, and other necessities at no cost to them. The Marketing and Communications VISTA will build sustainable marketing and communications systems that will expand community awareness and engagement for Frisco Family Services. These systems will increase access to critical programs and services - including food, financial assistance, and life skills programs - for individuals and families facing hunger, financial instability, and other urgent needs resulting in breaking the cycle of poverty. Member Duties :

The Marketing and Communications VISTA will build sustainable marketing and communications systems that expand community awareness and engagement for Frisco Family Services. They will develop a sustainable system for creating, organizing, and maintaining branded marketing materials to ensure consistency and improve efficiency across all organizational communications. In addition, the member will build structured outreach systems and tools that expand community awareness and strengthen engagement with local partners, businesses, and community groups. They will propose foundational media relations systems to increase visibility and position the organization as a trusted resource for individuals and families in crisis.
