POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Marketing team to organize campaigns and promotional events that can make a difference in our company's success. The Digital Marketing Specialist will assist team in the development of relevant content that is easily understood by both our physicians and our patients. Under general supervision produce DHR's media communications for marketing uses. The Digital Marketing Specialist will assist in establishing and maintaining professional media communications
POSITION EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations-related field preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly, concisely and creatively. Outstanding writing skills with experience in crafting messaging for multiple audiences. Must possess basic editing skills to create content for postings. Strong organization and prioritization skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Some evening or weekend work will be required. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office programs. Bilingual
  • English/Spanish.
JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
Three (3) years' related work experience Strong written communications including news releases, marketing collateral, press releases. Proven track record in media relations on a variety of healthcare topics. Experience in urgent issues management; comfortable with the need to move with speed, accuracy and grace; Proven experience to promote the goals of the hospital through media relations; Energetic, proactive, well-organized professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment and who is a self-starter; Ability to provide professional photography.
  • Familiar with technology including computer software, such as, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Event planning and management experience.
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITES
Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practices. Manages the brand image across digital platforms (Social media, web, digital ads). Manages social media outlets, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. Ongoing development and enhancement of health system website, and related micro sites; develops and maintains content for webpage and social media sites. Assist in generating and releasing media advisories, press releases, and statements and proactively pitch outlets around key issues. Develops and executes online strategies that include search engine optimization, keyword search, search engine marketing, and social media. Manages social media marketing campaigns and targeted advertisements for a cohesive brand appearance and voice. Responsible for engaging with online audience, monitoring comments and feedback Ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines. Works with third party marketing teams as needed regarding SEO, analytics, and digital campaign success. Assists with photo, video, and graphic design as needed.

Working Conditions:
The individual spends over 95% of his/her time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise. There is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The position does have low exposure to malodorous, infectious body fluids from patients and some minimal exposure to noxious smells from cleansing agents. C.
Occupational Exposure:
This position has minimal to no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues and is an OSHA Category III (although situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone, anywhere, might encounter potential exposure to body fluids). Person who performs these duties are not called upon as part of their employment to perform or assist in emergency medical care or first aid or to be potentially exposed in some other way. D.
