The Business Operations Intern (HR, Marketing & Treasury) is an entry-level internship designed for undergraduate students seeking hands-on experience across multiple business functions. This role primarily supports Human Resources operations, including HR systems and compliance, while also providing rotational exposure to Marketing and Treasury as needed. The intern will gain practical experience, develop foundational business skills, and learn how cross-functional teams operate within an organization.
Essential Responsibilities :
Assist with employee data migration and entry into HR systems (e.g., Dayforce) Scan, upload, and organize employee records, including Form I-9 documentation Review and audit HR records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance Support HR team with data tracking, reporting, and process documentation Assist Marketing team with content updates, research, and project coordination Support internal communications and branding initiatives as needed Provide administrative and data support to Treasury, including tracking and reporting financial information Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and company data Track assigned tasks, manage time effectively, and meet established deadlines Communicate progress regularly and escalate issues or discrepancies as neededEducation and Experience :
Currently enrolled as a freshman or sophomore pursuing a degree in Business or a related field Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Previous internship, academic project, or administrative experience is a plus but not requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Operates in a professional and/or business casual office environment. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers/scanners, and smartphones. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds Must be able to adhere to process protocol Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication.
