Full Job Description Power Specialist Summary/Objective:
Electrical Equipment Company (EECO) is an expert in industrial automation and electric motor solutions, with the benefit of being a full line electrical distributor. EECO provides a combination of capabilities to our OEM and Industrial customers, including onsite assessments, performance evaluation, data driven recommendations, repair options, and supply chain optimization. We are seeking a product manager to assist in leading our sales efforts to expand our unique power offerings throughout Virginia. This position will be the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and EECO. This role is technical and customer facing focused. To support sales growth, leads pre-sale technical, customer facing activities for core products including Component drives, Architecture drives, Packaged drives, MCCs, and Medium Voltage.
Qualification Requirements:
Outcome-based selling experience with understanding of industrial business drivers 2-year technical degree-OR-equivalent combination of skills, experience or education Good technical writing & presentation skills with ability to present Rockwell Automation's value proposition to mid / large size groups of customers (external and internal) both commercially and technically Demonstrates ability to work independently and be self-motivated Ability to analyze and document market conditions, competitive offerings Willing to continuously learn and improve technical competency
Essential Functions:
This position will be the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and EECO. Will provide technical, marketing, and commercial leadership for sales growth. Provides technical, application, and industry training to distributor account managers for core products.

Responsibilities:
Works directly with customers on pre-sale and post-sale engagements Be comfortable influencing customer on value of Rockwell Automation solutions vs competition Act as a trusted partner to the business units to provide productive voice of the customer and constructive feedback Travel to customers within assigned geography will be required Please note that this job description provides an overview of the essential functions required for the role.
