Job Description
Hiring Immediately - $21-22/hr + bonuses Full-time & Part-time Help us collect signatures for an important ballot initiative! Healthcare is expensive, and inaccessible for so many Wisconsinites. We're working to qualify an initiative that would create Citizens' Advisory Healthcare Action Committees, giving regular people the power to decide how to improve healthcare in their local communities. Join our campaign team to collect thousands of signatures and support this ballot initiative that will make a meaningful difference in our community. Petitioners will canvass in busy public areas and engage voters in one-on-one conversations, in order to gather signatures for this important ballot initiative. Canvassing is all about connecting with people face-to-face, having meaningful conversations, and inspiring them to take action on important issues. We spend our days outdoors, in public spaces to engage with community members. This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise. Get paid well! Petition Circulator positions start at $21/hour. Leadership positions start at $22/hour. We offer overtime pay, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals.
