Martin and Son is a specialty contractor with services in residential & commercial flooring, commercial glass, walls & ceilings, doors, hardware & specialties, and millwork & FF&E, along with national retail solutions, including fixture installation. Founded in 1931, the fourth-generation company works nationwide from its headquarters in Green Bay, Wis.

The position will work closely with the VP of Communication & Administration on advertising, public relations, communications, social media, collateral/signage, event planning, public relations, and creative pertaining to H.J. Martin and Son divisions and surrounding companies.

Marketing Specialist Principal Responsibilities:

Manage multiple projects and deadlines with excellent time management skills. Manage all company brands and implement brand standards for documents and communications. Plan and execute company events. Create and develop visual assets for advertising, promotion, and online presence. Manage printing projects for internal collateral and for client projects. Contribute to social media strategy (photo/video) and execution for multiple companies, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. Interact with customers professionally via company social media accounts. Analyze social media statistics and create direction for the company's social media marketing plan/strategy to continuously improve. Research current and emerging trends to implement into marketing strategy. Write and distribute company press releases, blogs, and case studies. Manage photography assets and organize photo shoots. Work closely with the marketing team on special projects. Manage needs of clients for the Martin Communications agency, managed by the H.J. Martin and Son Marketing Department.

Other Duties As Assigned:

Performs other related duties as assigned including supporting team members in the completion of their work for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the business.

Position Requirements Marketing Specialist Experience/Education Required:

3-4 years of on-the-job marketing experience. Associate or Bachelor's degree required, preferably with marketing, public relations, social media, or journalism emphasis. Experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite for graphic and video creation. Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc., and social media best practices. Experience in WordPress content management system preferred. Self-starter and ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication.
