JOB SUMMARY
Prepare the step-by-step processing plan in the form of a job traveler document based on customer and specification requirements. The position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team in a fast -paced environment on a daily basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and understand Hixson Metal Finishing procedures (HPS's) Understand and perform Contract Review process Understand Hixson Metal Finishing's processing capabilities Work in accordance with customer and regulatory (i.e. FAA) requirements Correctly interpret customer PO requirements Read and understand specification requirements and verify this against customer requirements Read and understand drawing / blueprint requirements Interface with customers regarding questions relating to their purchase order requirements, missing information on PO, etc. Prepare Job Travelers, certifications, and prepare/maintain frozen process procedures
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficient in English, both written and verbal Intermediate computer skills Good communication skills, both written and verbal Good customer service skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
Familiarity with process specifications in related industry, AS9100D Requirements, and Nadcap Chemical Processing
EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High School Diploma College is a plus
