Job Description

This role is in office in Rapid City, South Dakota.
MEDIA SPECIALIST
This is a newly created role designed to support the continued growth and expansion of our team. While the position collaborates across multiple departments, its primary focus is on the strategic planning, buying, and execution of digital media campaigns. The Paid Media Specialist will support both digital and traditional media planning, recommending tactics that work together to create a cohesive, integrated strategy. This role will manage a range of digital advertising channels, including paid search, display, streaming audio and video, and social media. This role also plays a key part in implementing robust tracking and analytics to measure performance and optimize results. From campaign setup through execution, you will coordinate all necessary components to ensure successful delivery. In addition, this position is responsible for helping develop client proposals and recommending effective strategies and tactics aligned with client goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, execute, and optimize a variety of digital advertising campaigns across Google, streaming video & audio , social, and other platforms with a high degree of accuracy. Analyze and report on campaign performance, including key metrics and optimization strategies. Develop and recommend media tactics that integrate seamlessly with advertising efforts Help prepare proposals and RFPs. Manage digital campaigns from kickoff through completion with minimal oversight while maintaining strong execution standards. Conduct research on advertising platforms and emerging opportunities. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Troubleshoot technical and operational issues throughout the campaign lifecycle. Contribute to team best practices, operational improvements, and innovation. Track performance against KPIs and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and results.
QUALIFICTIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in digital marketing or media buying with a deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and present insights clearly. Proficiency with major social and digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.). Solid grasp of conversion tracking, attribution, and campaign optimization techniques. Foundational data interpretation and storytelling for clients.
