Job Description

Summary Apple has always been about more than technology. We don't just build products, we create experiences that change the way we live, work, create, and connect! We believe in the power of simplicity, the beauty of creativity, and that great products are born when technology and art intersect. The Music Publishing Business and Royalty Operations team is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting, accruals, and royalty payments, supporting the songwriters, publishers, screenwriters, directors and many other roles in media who help make film, TV and music possible. These are foundational systems at the core of Apple's royalty payments landscape. The team leads global enterprise initiatives that simplify complex technical details for legal, business, and commercial teams while translating pivotal strategic new product initiatives into clear, actionable requirements for engineering partners. We focus on getting the big ideas right, but our love is in the details. We have a keen eye for finding the right path forward despite ambiguity. We love to learn and solve complex problems, and we're always asking why and why not in the pursuit of excellence. Description We are looking for an experienced Product Manager, someone with a strong blend of technical expertise, business intelligence, and user-centered design thinking. As an Individual Contributor Product Manager supporting Apple TV royalty processes, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, Publishing Operations, Legal, Finance, Commercial Development and other video teams. There will be involvement in multiple high impact initiatives including business expansion, process automation, compliance, and cost efficiency improvements. Success in this role demands critical thinking and working in a fast-paced environment where proactive communication and attention to detail are essential. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience driving technical and financial product requirements and leading implementations across large organizations. Proficient in defining technical product requirements, process flows, and business requirement documents (BRDs). Outstanding ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, and prototypes leveraging design tools e.g. Sketch, Figma, Claude Code. Proven ability of using different AI tools for data analysis, dashboard creation and automation of business processes. Solid understanding of UI/UX principles to deliver intuitive, efficient user experiences. Ability to interpret and review system architecture and data models. Preferred Qualifications Experience in music rights management with streaming and transactional video services. Familiarity with agile and waterfall software development methodologies. Competency with parsing JSON, writing SQL, defining and testing RESTful APIs. Ability to handle large data files using UNIX commands, shell scripts. Understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles and/or finance experience with payment processing. Bachelor's or master's degree in business, accounting, finance, or engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
