We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and execution of retail Point of Sale (POS) and related retail commerce initiatives focused on specialty retail verticals including footwear, apparel, gifts, lifestyle, and boutique retail environments. The ideal candidate combines strong retail domain expertise with modern product management practices, AI fluency, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of retail operations. This role will work cross-functionally with engineering, QA, UX/UI design, support, sales, implementation teams, and retail stakeholders to deliver innovative and scalable retail solutions. Our Product team members are strategic thinkers who can also operate tactically, translating customer and market needs into actionable product requirements while driving projects from concept through delivery. The Product Manager will report directly to the VP, Software Development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Define and manage product vision, roadmap, and priorities for retail POS and commerce-related solutions Identify market opportunities and competitive gaps within specialty retail segments including footwear, apparel, gift, and boutique retail Create and manage comprehensive Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), user stories, workflow diagrams, business process documentation, and functional specifications Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, efficient, and modern retail user experiences Leverage AI tools and platforms to improve product planning and analysis, accelerate output, documentation, ideation, workflow optimization, and operational efficiency Drive cross-functional initiatives across product, development, QA, support, and implementation teams Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, priorities, and stakeholder communications Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, prioritization sessions, and release readiness activities Analyze retailer feedback, operational pain points, and enhancement requests to guide product decisions Use data-driven methodologies to evaluate product performance and recommend improvements
Requirements:
What Makes You a Great Fit 5+ years of Product Management experience in retail technology, POS systems, retail SaaS, or commerce platforms Strong knowledge of specialty retail operations including footwear, apparel, gift, boutique, or lifestyle retail Demonstrated experience managing retail POS or unified commerce software products Experience creating PRDs, user stories, workflows, process documentation, and product specifications Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and customer-centered design methodologies Proficiency using AI-powered tools for analysis, documentation, productivity, and product development workflows Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile development environments Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities effectively Nice-to-Have Skills Understanding of general retail operations, retail reporting, analytics, inventory planning, customer engagement tools, omnichannel retail systems and integrations (BOPIS, ship-from-store, endless aisle) Familiarity with payment processing, retail hardware, and store operations Experience working with distributed development teams and enterprise retail customers Exposure in cloud-based retail platforms and API-driven ecosystems Experience with workflow mapping, business process optimization, and operational analysis Knowledge of retail compliance considerations, security best practices, and global taxation methods (Sales Tax, VAT, GST) Compensation and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$165,000 per year Eligibility for an annual performance bonus and additional benefits.
