Product Manager | The Closet Trading Co. Studio City Part-Time | Leadership Role | Hourly, Non-Exempt About The Closet Trading Co. Founded in 2003 in Santa Barbara, The Closet Trading Co. is a luxury consignment boutique built on the belief that great style should be accessible, curated, and sustainable. We extend the life of luxury fashion through trusted consignment, personalized service, and a commitment to environmental responsibility. What began as one boutique has grown into a multi-location brand, and we're continuing to expand our team and impact in sustainable luxury retail. We are seeking a Product Manager to lead merchandising strategy, inventory flow, and product presentation in one of our boutique locations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring product moves efficiently from intake to floor while maintaining strong visual standards and driving sell-through. This role combines creative merchandising with operational execution and team leadership. What You'll Do Product & Merchandising Leadership Oversee intake-to-floor pipeline for accuracy, speed, and presentation Maintain merchandising and visual standards across the store Manage inventory flow, transfers, markdowns, and organization Support authenticity review processes and product quality standards Monitor product performance and sell-through Team Leadership Train and coach Consignment Specialists and product team members Provide feedback on performance and standards Support keyholder responsibilities and shift leadership Help maintain a collaborative, positive store environment Operations & Floor Execution Maintain organized racks, displays, and storage areas Ensure product standards are followed consistently Support inventory reporting and communication with leadership Assist with floor coverage and client service as needed What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of luxury brands and resale pricing Retail merchandising or inventory leadership experience Ability to coach and lead a small team Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment Passion for resale, sustainability, and fashion Physical Requirements Standing and walking for extended periods Lifting up to 25 lbs Moving racks and merchandise Bending, reaching, and organizing product Reasonable accommodations may be provided in accordance with applicable law.

Compensation Hourly Pay Range:

$21-$23.50/hour

DOE Commission:

1% of individual sales when store sales goals are met

Schedule:

Full-time, including weekends and some holidays This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime in accordance with California law.
