Job Description

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.). Experience building or integrating AI and ML technologies into ads prediction, auction stack, or quality and ranking systems.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with quality or modeling specific product management (e.g., ranking, content retrieval or disabling, automated evaluation or ground truth generation, etc.). Experience in a product management role. Ability to communicate topics and switch between high-level concerns (e.g., strategy, macroeconomic effects) and low-level issues (e.g., how costs will move for a single query). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention-to-detail. About the job The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Develop insights of user behavior and sentiment on Google, and contribute to the long-term growth of the search advertising business. Translate knowledge into ways to better model quality user experiences, either through new models/approaches or enhancing existing models. Drive leadership alignment and buy-in on high visibility projects. Collaborate with auction teams to better understand and account for user experience in the search ads auction. Partner with product teams in Search Ads and Ads on Google Experiences (SAGE), DeepMind, User Experience (UX) and User Experience Research (UXR), and cross-functional partners.
