Our teams work collaboratively across departments to bring collections from concept through market and production. Position Overview The Design & Product Development Assistant plays a key role in supporting the execution of the design and product development process across the seasonal calendar. This position partners closely with the Design, Product Development and Sales teams to ensure styles are developed within the brand aesthetic, samples are tracked efficiently, and information is clearly and accurately communicated across cross-functional teams. This role is essential to keeping the design and product development process running smoothly. By supporting both creative execution and operational follow-through, along with customer-facing wholesale materials, the Design & Product Development Assistant helps ensure that Max Studio collections are developed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with brand standards and wholesale timelines. Key Responsibilities Design Support Create and update accurate, customer-facing and internal line sheets and visual presentation materials for wholesale sell-in Ensure product information, visuals, and presentation materials meet brand standards and are customer-ready Assist with preparation of materials and summaries for meetings, line reviews, and market-related activities Organize and maintain design materials including fabrics, trims, colors, prints, and artwork Product Development Support Support the product development process throughout the seasonal calendar, from concept through sales samples and production handoff Track and manage samples, development timelines, and milestone deliverables across seasons Maintain accurate and up-to-date style information, including fabric, trim, color, and construction details Coordinate communication related to fabrics, prints, and print placement with internal teams and vendors, as directed Assist with cross-functional handoffs between Design, Merchandising, Production, and Sales Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Development or a related field 1-5 years of relevant experience in design, product development, or a closely related role Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of adherence to branding Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, calendar-driven environment Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset Preferred Skills & Experience Hands-on experience supporting apparel product development workflows Experience with sample tracking, style data management, and development coordination Understanding of fabrics, trims, color theory, prints, and garment construction
