Since 1961, Micro-Tracers, Inc. has manufactured analytical tracers used for quality assurance purposes by the animal feed industry. They have been formulated by Elanco (Eli Lilly), Zoetis (formerly Pfizer), Merck, and other major drug companies world-wide to identify their products as proprietary. Micro-Tracers manufactures SECURtracers specifically for use in the pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals to combat counterfeiting of proprietary products. The company utilizes semiconductor technology in its manufacturing. Micro-Tracers, Inc. was founded by Dr. Sylvan Eisenberg, a Ph.D. chemist, graduate of Stanford University. THE ROLE:
Our ideal candidate is someone who is truly entrepreneurial. This person will write GMP/ISO documentation and government submissions, as well as reach out to find customers to develop business relations with. Some experience in marketing/sales is preferred. It would be great if this person can work independently and creatively and can take the
- initiative as this role will be autonomous but will have technical support.

the primary function of this position is to generate sales by contacting pharmaceutical manufacturers and allied industries. The initial goal will be to have one Virtual Call with a pharma manufacturer per month. We hope to generate sales in a year or two. The position will be on site at 1375 Van Dyke Avenue, San Francisco, California except when on business travel that could take in time 6-8 weeks per year. The ideal candidate will have education in business and related sales/marketing experience but the most important requirement is to be self-starting and entrepreneurial. This position is "Exempt" managerial with no overtime paid except as mandated by law. The position could in theory be 24/7. Candidates should be good communicators, good writers
- proficient with "Linked-In" and business software.
While the focus of sales efforts is for use of SECURtracers for on dose coding of oral solid dosage form drugs as authentic, as a means of detecting counterfeits by absence of the tracer, Micro-Tracers is nearly complete in developing variants for use in pharma product labels. There may very well be marketing/sales directions to pursue other than the use as PCIDs in drugs. Other responsibilities required to generate business include: Collaborating with Micro-Tracers' manufacturing, research and development and quality assurance staff. Maintaining and creating marketing materials, brochures, website, databases, making powerpint presentations. Maintaing detaiiled records of pharmaceutical manufacturers contacted and also support services for developing marketing materials etc. Interaction with government regulators and making submissions to meet regulatory requirements. Attending trade shows, participating on Virtual Calls Other duties as assigned The position reports to the senior management of Micro-Tracers,Inc. David Eisenberg, President and CEO, Zachary Eisenberg, VP and COO, Amanda Eisenberg, CMO.

Compensation:
$75,000 Salary (Exempt) with a potential bonus structure
