Job Summary
Acer is expanding its portfolio of high-performance computing products to meet the growing demand for AI development, training, and enterprise deployment. As the Business Manager for AI Workstations & Servers, you will own the commercial success, channel strategy, and financial performance of Acer's AI-focused hardware solutions, including Acer/Altos GPU workstations, rack-scale server platforms, and AI appliance systems. This role partners cross-functionally with product management, engineering, manufacturing, global sales, and channel partners to drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability across enterprise, government, education, and research segments.
Job Responsibility
Business Ownership & Strategy Own revenue, margin, and market share performance for Acer's AI workstation and server portfolio.
Develop and execute business plans that support Acer's AI growth objectives.
Identify new market opportunities across enterprise AI, edge computing, research, and data center environments.
Translate product roadmaps into commercial strategies that drive growth and profitability. Go-to-Market & Channel Management Define and execute channel and go-to-market strategies across distributors, resellers, system integrators, and enterprise customers.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners, including platform and ecosystem vendors.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop positioning, pricing, competitive messaging, and enablement materials.
Support major customer opportunities, bids, and RFPs. Forecasting & Business Operations Develop revenue, demand, and inventory forecasts to support business planning.
Partner with sales, supply chain, and operations teams to optimize product availability and execution.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and business performance to drive informed decision-making. Product Lifecycle & Performance Management Manage product performance throughout the lifecycle, including pricing, promotions, and profitability.
Provide market and customer feedback to product management and engineering teams.
Track cost trends and business metrics to improve margins and support long-term portfolio success.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3-7+ years of experience in business management, product management, business development, or sales within server, workstation, AI infrastructure, or enterprise technology markets.
Working knowledge of AI/ML workloads, including training, inference, large language models (LLMs), and enterprise AI use cases.
Familiarity with GPU and accelerator ecosystems, including NVIDIA, AMD, and emerging AI computing platforms.
Experience with enterprise server, workstation, data center, or high-performance computing (HPC) solutions.
Proven experience managing business forecasts, revenue targets, pricing strategies, and channel performance metrics.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas, financial modeling, forecasting, and large-scale data analysis.
Strong business analytics capabilities with the ability to interpret sales, market, inventory, pricing, and profitability data to support strategic decision-making.
Experience collaborating with OEM/ODM partners, distributors, system integrators, and global supply chain organizations.
Ability to develop executive-level business reviews, dashboards, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Ability to translate technical product capabilities into clear customer value propositions and business outcomes.
