Job DescriptionAs a Staff Product Manager on the SSD marketing team, you will work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, operations, and management to drive product awareness and design wins for
Ownership of AVL processes, interop validation, and large-scale deployment readinessClose collaboration with ecosystem partners (CPU, GPU, platform, and software vendors)Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and TCO dynamics to define winning product strategies in performance, power, endurance, and costAct as the bridge between technical and commercial domains, ensuring alignment between customer requirements, engineering trade-offs, and business outcomesOversee pre-sales and customer engagement activities, including RFQs, RFIs, technical deep-dives, and spec gap analysisDevelop customer-facing and internal product collateral, including solution briefs, competitive positioning, and executive presentationsOwn the full product lifecycle from concept and definition through development, launch, ramp, and end-of-lifeServe as a subject matter expert and evangelist, representing KIOXIA at customer engagements, industry forums (e.g., OCP, NVMe), and with analysts and mediaQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred7+ years of product management experience in SSDs, storage, semiconductors, or related hardware technologiesPrior experience working with or supporting hyperscalers, cloud providers, or large-scale data center customers strongly preferredStrong understanding of:
SSD architecture, NAND flash, and controller/SoC designNVMe ecosystem and next-generation interfaces (PCIe Gen4/5/6 and beyond)Enterprise and hyperscale storage systems (block, file, object storage) Familiarity with:
