Senior Product Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Product Manager with expertise in AI/ML and Image Generation space preferably with experience in the e-commerce or retail domain, to join our team in the bay area. This position will require presence at the work site at least 3 days in a week. Essential functions

• Define and deliver the roadmap for AI-generated product and lifestyle imagery for e-commerce product pages.
• Partner with engineering and AI/ML teams to integrate third-party (e.g., OpenAI) and internal capabilities for image generation.
• Curate training datasets and tagging structures to fine-tune model performance and ensure on-brand outputs.
• Build and maintain an image style taxonomy in collaboration with creative leaders to guide multi-brand consistency.
• Develop prompt templates and feedback systems for asset generation aligned to brand style guides and campaign needs.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with brand creative teams, product content managers, and merchants.
• Design and manage QA workflows, initially manual, to ensure creative fidelity and scalable feedback loops.
• Monitor output metrics such as asset acceptance rate, generation cost, and asset velocity to optimize tool performance.
• Plan for future scalability across additional image types and formats while maintaining near-term focus on core product pages. Qualifications
• 10+ years of product management experience with at least 3+ years working in AI/ML, creative tech, or content automation.
• Demonstrated experience with generative AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Stability, Adobe Firefly) and image-related prompt engineering.
• Strong understanding of model training pipelines, tagging systems, and metadata management.
• Experience working with creative, marketing, or brand design teams, especially around workflow change and tooling adoption.
• Comfortable leading hands-on delivery in a fast-moving, ambiguous space with high visibility.
• Excellent stakeholder management and storytelling skills — you know how to align creatives, engineers, and executives alike.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or large content ecosystems is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
