Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role. 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.). Experience with networking, network architecture, networking protocols, software architecture.Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in a technology or business related field. Experience with release and product launches. Experience driving large-scale cross-functional projects. Experience with tooling and software systems. Experience in running large-scale operations. Knowledge of financial models and making build, buy, and partner decisions. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. The Google Global Infrastructure team (GGI) develops cutting edge networking technologies that allow Google's global WAN to connect the world through one of the largest zero-touch, Software Defined Networking (SDN) infrastructure. GGI delivers connectivity services to all Google Cloud customers and also all Google products (Search, Ads, Workspace, etc.) serving billions across the planet. This global WAN includes extensive global submarine cable systems, worldwide CDN infrastructure leveraged by YouTube, backbone WAN interconnecting all Google data centers, and edge WAN connecting customers to the data centers. The GGI Product Management team's mission is to deliver networking products that enable our customers' business objectives and deliver the best product experience. GGI strives to be an organization where Googlers of every background can grow. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $240,000-$334,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Build and operate Transporting User Bits Everywhere (TUBE) - the largest bandwidth-as-a-service product on the planet. Add new features and functionalities to address upcoming customer demands. Define product roadmap, work with engineering to deliver the product, work cross-functionally to launch the product, and collaborate with users to drive ongoing adoption. Work closely with customers to define and refine their network operations journeys and requirements.
