Job Summary:
The Product Management Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure that product management processes and activities meet standards. This role involves conducting product analyses, performing data analysis, and developing and implementing product plans. The Product Management Specialist works closely with cross functional teams to address product issues, perform competitive analysis, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, this role involves training and mentoring product management staff and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends
  • Identify new product opportunities and make recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals Product Development and Launch
  • Oversee product development process from concept to launch
  • Define product features and specifications
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Conduct product testing and gather feedback for continuous improvement Product Positioning and Messaging
  • Define target market and create buyer personas
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the product from competitors
  • Create marketing materials and sales tools to support product positioning
  • Train sales teams on product features and benefits Product Performance Analysis
  • Monitor product performance and track key metrics
  • Identify areas for improvement and make data driven recommendations
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management Customer Feedback and Support
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to understand needs and pain points
  • Work with customer support teams to address product issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement customer feedback programs to gather insights for product development
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure customer needs are met and addressed in product roadmap Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure successful product launches and updates
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop pricing strategies and sales forecasts
  • Partner with marketing teams to create product messaging and go to market plans
  • Communicate product updates and changes to all relevant teams and stakeholders.

        Qualifications:
        • Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or related field with at least 5 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
        • Strong technical skills with proficiency in product management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Aha!).
        • Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques.
        • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously..
        • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
