Shangri-La is a fast-growing cannabis organization focused on delivering exceptional products, operational excellence, and innovative customer experiences across cultivation, manufacturing, and retail operations. As our organization continues to scale, we are seeking a strategic and highly organized Product Manager to help oversee product planning, production coordination, inventory alignment, and operational execution across cultivation and manufacturing. This is a high-impact leadership role that works closely with executive leadership, cultivation, manufacturing, inventory, fulfillment, and sales teams to ensure our product pipeline aligns with market demand, operational capacity, and company growth goals.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Product Manager will oversee product planning and coordination across cultivation and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring products are being forecasted, scheduled, produced, packaged, and distributed efficiently based on sales trends, inventory levels, and market demand. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, operationally minded, and thrives in fast-paced environments where organization, communication, and adaptability are critical.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and oversee product planning schedules across cultivation and manufacturing operations
  • Align product forecasting with sales trends, inventory levels, and market demand
  • Coordinate closely with cultivation, manufacturing, fulfillment, inventory, and leadership teams to ensure smooth operational execution
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, finished goods, and consumables
  • Ensure production priorities and product timelines are communicated clearly to operational teams
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements
  • Assist in developing and maintaining SOPs for product workflows and operational consistency
  • Track production efficiency, labor utilization, and operational performance metrics
  • Support product launch planning, packaging coordination, and production readiness
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, METRC requirements, and regulatory guidelines
  • Assist leadership with forecasting, operational planning, and scalability initiatives
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure uninterrupted production support
  • Troubleshoot operational and product planning issues proactively
  • Partner with leadership on long-term product strategy and operational growth initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Cannabis industry experience required
  • Prior experience in manufacturing operations, product planning, inventory management, supply chain coordination, cultivation, fulfillment, or production forecasting required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with inventory systems, forecasting tools, spreadsheets, and operational reporting
  • Knowledge of manufacturing workflows, compliance standards, METRC requirements, and production planning principles
  • Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on operationally
  • Leadership, project management, or operational coordination experience strongly preferred
