Job Description
The Product Manager is accountability for pricing, proposals, and contract review within product line, responsible for creation and deployment of commercial strategy. This role drives revenue, profitability, and market expansion through cross‑functional collaboration, new product development, and customer engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership in the definition, implementation, and delivery of the strategic plans for the Medical Device markets. Active contribution to the future global manufacturing footprint. Oversees performance of the multi‑product portfolio including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and execution. Owns and maintains the product strategy for the product line(s). Develops long‑range roadmaps aligned to industry trends and customer need. Conducts market research, competitive analysis, and identify new vertical and channel opportunities. Leads kickoff process for NPD launches including VOC, roadmap definition, business cases, forecasts, and launch execution. Interfaces with customers, sales, and partners. Partners with engineering, operations, and leadership. Maximize value of existing process technologies collaboratively with manufacturing and sales teams by identifying opportunities and increasing our NPD pipeline. Controls and performs the activities of contract negotiations to obtain optimum orders, sales, and profits. Contributes to formulation of monthly/quarterly company sales strategy and annual sales plan. Prepared weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to summarize activities and results within assigned accounts and populates into sales tools. Participates in trade shows, customer business reviews and customer supplier meetings to strengthen customer relationships and capture target accounts. Travel up to 40% domestic and international All other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field, or equivalent experience 5+ years in product management, technical sales, or account management (manufacturing preferred) Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills Previous experience with selling with OEMs and distributors preferred Combination of technical aptitude and consultative capabilities with a commercial focus, including technical marketing and application engineering Good project and time management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer relationship skills Proven track record of setting aggressive targets and meeting business goals through team interaction and involvement Understanding cost and profit drivers Proficient computer skills /CRM and PLM experience Demonstrated ability to lead direct and multifunctional matrix teams Able to work independently with little direction or supervision Ability to demonstrate critical values; vision, driving change, communication, integrity, and commitment to team success.Similar remote jobs
