WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading pricing strategy, product development and portfolio performance for the personal lines property programs across assigned states. This role serves as a senior technical and strategic leader within the Product organization, driving complex initiatives, influencing enterprise decision-making, and serving as a mentor to junior team members. The position works collaboratively across cross-functional business units to design and implement state and program enhancements that achieve growth, profitability and long-term strategic objectives. Lead and oversee the full rate lifecycle across assigned states, including strategy development, actuarial alignment, regulatory filing, and implementation Establish and evolve pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics, profitability targets, and enterprise growth objectives Drive advanced competitive intelligence efforts using internal data, third-party insights, and emerging market trends Own the design, prioritization, and execution of complex product enhancements to improve underwriting, quoting, and policy issuance outcomes Partner with actuarial, underwriting, claims, data science, and technology teams to deliver integrated and scalable product solutions Identify and advance strategic initiatives related to automation, data optimization, customer insights, and distribution expansion Mentor and guide product analysts and product managers, fostering skill development and preparing for future people leadership responsibilities Drive continuous improvement in product performance, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making capabilities
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education and Work Authorization:
Bachelor's Degree (BA) in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, actuarial science, insurance, or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident Experience 8-12+ years of property and casualty insurance experience in product management, pricing, actuarial, or equivalent roles Demonstrated expertise in rate-making methodologies, regulatory environments, and product lifecycle management Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities with a track record of delivering measurable business impact Experience mentoring team members or leading projects that require coordination across multiple stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to and influence executive leadership Advanced Microsoft Office skills with strong proficiency in Excel; experience with data tools or analytics platforms is a plus
