Job Description

Job Description Our client in the manufacturing industry is building a customer and distributor-facing Manufacturing Order Tracker that provides real-time visibility into made-to-order manufacturing orders and factory production status, while also enabling internal customer service representatives (CSRs) through backend workflows, AI-driven insights, and escalation paths. This role will serve as both Product Manager and SAFe Product Owner for a standalone product with its own lifecycle and roadmap, while leveraging our clients overarching enterprise technology stack.
  •  Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the Manufacturing Order Tracker
  •  Act as the voice of the customer, incorporating feedback from distributors, end customers, and internal CSR teams
  •  Partner with manufacturing, business, and technical teams to define and deliver product capabilities
  •  Lead requirements definition, backlog refinement, and prioritization
  •  Define and maintain acceptance criteria and Definition of Done
  •  Collaborate closely with delivery teams (engineering, QA, UX) to ensure quality execution
  •  Ensure the product meets business objectives related to manufacturing visibility and customer experience
  •  Support integrations across SAP, Salesforce, and manufacturing systems
  •  Enable customer service teams through backend workflows, escalation paths, and intelligent tooling
  •  Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Demos
  •  Manage dependencies and alignment with the broader enterprise tech ecosystem
  •  Identify opportunities for product expansion and future enhancements
Pay Rate:

  •  3-5+ years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Product Owner
  •  Experience owning a product end-to-end, including roadmap, backlog, and delivery
  •  Strong experience working in manufacturing and B2B environments
  •  Strong experience working between business and technical teams to define business requirements
  •  Experience translating business needs into: o User stories o Acceptance criteria o Definition of Done
  •  Strong experience working in Agile / SAFe environments
  •  SAP (ERP) experience
  •  Salesforce experience (Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud)
  •  Experience working with ERP and CRM integrations
  •  Experience enabling or partnering with Customer Service teams
  •  Strong communication skills with the ability to align technical delivery to business objectives
  •  Experience supporting customer service workflows, escalation paths, or backend service tools
  •  Familiarity with AI-enabled systems, AI data models, or intelligent automation
  •  HVAC or industrial manufacturing domain experience
  •  SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification or Agile certifications
