Job Description:

Summary Entegee Engineering is actively seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer for a direct hire, permanent opportunity located in Rock Island, IL. This role will lead new product development initiatives within industrial equipment and capital machinery environments, supporting long-term product strategy, technology integration, and platform standardization. The position collaborates cross-functionally with engineering and leadership teams to drive innovation from concept through product launch. Responsibilities Lead new product development projects from concept through launch Develop and maintain a 3-5 year product roadmap Research and evaluate emerging technologies related to motion control, automation, hydraulics, and structural systems Drive development of new product platforms and system architectures Standardize core product modules across product lines (frames, drives, controls, etc.) Support investment planning and ROI analysis in collaboration with leadership Coordinate activities across cross-functional engineering teams Provide technical direction related to mechanical systems, structural design, and industrial machinery Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred) 8+ years of engineering experience in capital equipment or industrial machinery Proven experience leading technical projects from concept through product launch Experience with structural steel design and weldments Experience with industrial motion systems Mechanical power transmission knowledge Experience managing or leading cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Structural analysis / FEA experience Hydraulic system design Servo motor and drive applications PLC integration exposure Experience with robotic or welding automation systems Lean product development experience #GRP2 Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
