Job Description:
Overview:
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for driving the delivery and evolution of Finvi's Velosidy platform. This role focuses on core product management disciplines including requirements definition, backlog management, cross-functional collaboration, and product delivery, while ensuring the product effectively supports customer workflows, including key financial operations such as reconciliation and month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Execution & Delivery Own and maintain a well-defined, prioritized product backlog aligned to business goals and customer needs Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and development-ready specifications Partner with engineering teams to deliver high-quality releases on time and within scope Actively participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives Track and communicate release progress, risks, and dependencies Customer & Problem Focus Gather and synthesize input from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to identify and prioritize problems to solve Ensure solutions address real user needs and deliver measurable value Incorporate feedback loops to validate product changes and continuously improve outcomes Maintain awareness of customer workflows, including financial processes such as reconciliation, payment tracking, and month-end activities, to ensure product usability and effectiveness Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with: Engineering to align on requirements, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines Product Design (UX/UI) to create intuitive and efficient user experiences Customer Success and Support to address issues, gather insights, and improve customer satisfaction Serve as a key point of coordination between business and technical teams Product Quality & Performance Monitor product performance, usage, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement Support issue triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution of product defects Advocate for improvements in usability, reliability, and overall customer experience Roadmap Contribution Contribute to the development and refinement of the product roadmap Balance competing priorities including customer needs, technical considerations, and business objectives Support incremental delivery of features that align with broader product strategy Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree preferred 5+ years of experience in product management or a related role, ideally in SaaS or technology-driven environments Experience working in Agile development environments Ability to break down complex problems into actionable product requirements Strong organizational and prioritization skills Experience with fintech, payments, or workflow-based SaaS platforms Familiarity with operational or financial workflows (e.g., reconciliation, reporting, or transaction management) Exposure to enterprise software products
