Job Description

- Your role and responsibilities
Role Expectations:
As Product Owner- Own the FinOps product roadmap, prioritizing capabilities that improve cost visibility, accountability, and optimization outcomes
- Partner closely with Finance, Cloud Operations, and Engineering teams to translate business goals into actionable FinOps initiatives
- Drive adoption and effective use of Apptio Cloudability across teams and platforms
- Enable data-driven decision-making through clear insights, metrics, and executive-ready reporting
- Balance tactical execution (billing accuracy, controls) with strategic cost optimization and long-term value realization
- Experience operating at enterprise scale (multi-BU, multi-region, cloud spend) preferred
- Required technical and professional expertise
- Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing cloud spend across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud in large, complex environments
- Multiple years of Apptio Cloudability experience, including cost allocation, forecasting, reporting, and optimization use cases
- Strong financial and operational expertise, with experience running or supporting large-scale billing, chargeback/showback, and cost recovery operations
- Proven FinOps and TechOps optimization experience, partnering with engineering and platform teams to drive measurable cost efficiencies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage Finance, Engineering, Product, and Executive leadership
- Strategic mindset — able to move beyond cost tracking to co-create optimization strategies with the business, aligning cloud consumption with product, growth, and financial objectives
- Preferred technical and professional experience
Agile Methodologies Knowledge:
Experience with Agile principles and practices, such as Scrum, to effectively manage Product Backlogs and collaborate with Iteration Managers/Scrum Masters and Development Teams.
Product Development Insight:
Experience in understanding product development processes to make informed decisions about priorities and backlog management.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Experience working with various stakeholders, including Clients, to drive shared understanding and progress.
